Step 3. Enter your password in the Create password field. Use at least 8 characters, case sensitive and numbers for maximum security. To create a strong password, use all 16 characters and include at least one uppercase letter, as well as a number and special characters.

Tick the Show password box to display your passwords and check them again.

Tick I would like… box if you want to receive mail about Microsoft product service information and tips. If you do not want, please remove the tick.

Click Next to continue.

Step 4. Enter your First Name and Last Name, then click Next.

Step 5. Select the country/region you are living in (United States) and choose your date of birth. click Next.

Step 6. In this step, Hotmail will ask you to enter a Captcha code to verify that you are not a robot. You must enter exactly what you see, if you do not see clearly, select New to get a new code or select Audio to listen to the code.

Step 7. So you have finished registering Hotmail account, there will be a Hotmail welcome popup appear.

Click the Next arrow (>) to select Language, Time Zone, Color, Wallpaper with over 50 different themes and display options.
